Cameo Green Project

Cameo’s commitment to respecting environment has been ongoing from the beginning. Cameo has always done their utmost to keep waste to a minimum and dispose of all chemicals used in finishing in the safest fashion possible, in order not to pollute the environment.
Cameo had been waiting for the right green products to be available in the industry before offering a ‘GREEN’ line and did not want to offer a green product just for the sake of offering it.

It has taken years of research and experimentation for Cameo to confidently offer a line that is both ‘GREEN’ and speaks volumes when it comes to quality. In 2011 Cameo launched the ‘GREEN’ line with the launch of ‘FUSION’. The new ‘GREEN’ line utilizes core materials that are not only FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified, they are also formaldehyde free and CARB2 (California Air Resources Board) compliant, this includes all plywood, particleboard and MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard). They are made of sustainable raw material and are distributed by companies who ensure ethical productions.
The new ‘GREEN’ line also uses water based urethanes and sealers. Any waste from water based products will not harm the environment. Also what that means to the consumer is that the end product will be formaldehyde free with VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds) that are CARB2 compliant.

Cameo’s standard cabinetry line as well as the ‘GREEN’ line are under continuous improvement. Cameo will always strive to bring to the consumer the highest quality in materials and production.
